Atithy Family Restaurant

This restaurant is out on National Highway-2 in Varanasi. We are right next to the petrol pump, which makes it a very easy spot for people driving long distances to stop and take a break. My family started this place because we saw how many travelers were looking for a decent meal on the road. It’s not like those fancy places in the city center. We keep things very plain and functional. The highway is always noisy and dusty, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the windows and the floors to keep the place looking okay. We have plenty of space for parking, which is one thing our customers really like. I spend my days mostly in the back checking on the kitchen. We have a few local boys working as servers. They aren't professionally trained, but they are good kids and they work hard. We don't have a mission statement or any big goals like that. We just want to make sure the food is hot and the customers are satisfied before they get back in their cars. Sometimes it gets really busy during the holidays when everyone is traveling to see their families. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a straightforward family business. If you’re on the highway and need a bite, you can find us there near the pump. It’s nothing fancy, just a reliable place to eat.
