We are located on G.t. Road in the Bhullanpur area of Varanasi. Specifically, we’re in the Vindhyanagar Colony. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city center, but it’s where we live and work. The 221004 zip code covers our area. We’ve been here for a while. It’s not a huge establishment. We just have a small space where we prepare things. People in the colony know us well. We don't have a big sign out front, just a simple one. The G.t. Road is always busy with trucks and buses, so it’s never really quiet outside. We do our best to keep the dust out. Inside, it’s just us working. We don't have a lot of employees. Most of the work is done by the family. We don't use fancy equipment. It’s mostly hand tools and a couple of stoves. We make what we can and sell it to the people nearby. Sometimes travelers on the road stop by if they see us. We don't have a lot of variety, just a few things we do every day. It’s a steady life. We don’t have a lot of rules, we just make sure the food is ready on time. It’s just a small part of Varanasi, doing our thing. We open up early and stay until the evening, then we just walk back to the living quarters.
