The tadka restaurant

Our place, The tadka restaurant, is located at N8/247 on the DLW BHU road in the Sunderpur part of Varanasi. We are right across from Adarsh Hospital, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. We have been here for a good while, and we have seen the road change a lot over the years. It is a busy stretch of road with a lot of people heading towards the university or coming from the hospital. We are just a small local team. We don’t have a big corporate background or anything polished about us. Most of our day is spent in the kitchen or tidying up the dining area. We do all the heavy lifting ourselves. Sometimes the street gets a bit chaotic with all the rickshaws and bikes, but that is just how Sunderpur is. We like being in this part of Varanasi because it feels very real and active. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just open the doors in the morning and stay until the last customer is gone. It can be tiring, but it is our own business. We focus on the simple things like making sure the tables are clean and the lights are working. We recognize a lot of the people who walk past our door every day. It’s a decent place to work and we just take things as they come.
