The Spicy Tadka Restaurant

The Spicy Tadka Restaurant is located right near the Main Lahurabir Crossing Lahurabir in Varanasi. If you know that area, you know how loud and busy it stays. We are at C-27-89 E, Station Rd, Lahurabir, Varanasi - 221001, and the noise from the rickshaws and bikes is something we’ve just gotten used to over time. It’s a constant background sound while we work. We usually start our day pretty early because the station area never really sleeps. There is always someone looking for a place to sit for a while. Our walls have a few marks here and there, and the furniture is simple, just stuff we picked out because it was sturdy. We don't have any of those fancy decorations you see in the big city places. It is just a regular restaurant where we focus on getting the work done. The kitchen stays hot, especially in the summer months, but we keep the fans going as much as we can. We see a lot of people coming from the railway station with their heavy bags, looking a bit tired. It’s nice to be a place where they can just take a break from the Lahurabir traffic. We don't really have a big story to tell. We just opened up here because it seemed like a good spot, and we've been here ever since. We know the newspaper guy and the tea stall owner next door quite well by now.
