The Silver Handicrafts Industries

The Silver Handicrafts Industries is located at K-37/113 in G.D.S. Lane, over in the Golghar area. We’ve been working out of this small space for a long time, focusing on making silver items. It’s a bit of a walk to find us in the lane, but we’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors can point you the right way. Our workshop is usually full of the sound of small hammers and the smell of polishing compounds. It’s not a sterile factory; it’s a place where things are made by hand, so there’s a bit of a mess sometimes. We don’t have a big showroom or fancy lights to display our work. Usually, we just show people what we’ve finished on the workbench if they stop by. Golghar is a crowded part of the city, and G.D.S. Lane has its own rhythm. We don’t do the whole corporate marketing thing. We just focus on the silver and making sure each piece looks right before it leaves the shop. Sometimes we get a bit behind when we have a lot of orders during the festival season, but we don't like to rush the work. It takes time to get the details right, and we’ve been doing it this way for years. Most of our customers are locals or people who have heard about us from their families. We just keep our heads down and keep working at our craft every day. It’s what we know.
