The Restaurant Corner

You can find us at Shop number 1 on Mahaveer mandir road. We are right in the Orderly Bazar area of Varanasi. The police chowki is just nearby, so that is a good landmark if you are lost. Varanasi is a crowded city, and our little corner is no different. There are motorbikes and people moving past the shop all day long. We started this place because we wanted to be right in the middle of the action. It is a small shop, but we make it work. The walls have some wear and tear, and the furniture is simple wood. We don't use any fancy menus or anything like that. Most of the people who eat here live or work in Orderly Bazar. They know what they want before they even sit down. Sometimes we run out of things toward the end of the day, but that’s just how it goes when you’re small. The noise from the street stays with us until we close up at night. It is a busy life, but we like being part of the neighborhood. We know the local shopkeepers and the folks who walk by every morning. We just focus on serving the food and keeping the place going. It isn't anything special to look at, but it is honest work. We are just here every day, opening the doors and seeing who comes in.
