Shri Shivam Restaurant

Nagwa Road has been our home for quite a while now. You can find us right near the Lanka Thana at B-30/74. Most of the people living around here are familiar with the spot. Every morning, we open up and start getting things ready for the people who come in for lunch. Being in the Lanka area of Varanasi means it stays pretty busy, especially with all the students and folks heading down to the ghats. We don't bother with anything fancy, just standard food that people around here like to eat. Over the years, the building hasn't changed much at all. Some days get a bit more hectic than others, mostly when the traffic on the road outside is heavy. There are a few tables and chairs for anyone who wants to sit and have a quick bite. It is not a massive restaurant, but it serves its purpose for the locals and travelers passing through. Keeping the place tidy and the service moving is what we focus on. A lot of our regulars are people who work nearby or live in the streets behind us. We see the same faces every week, which is nice. Sometimes the power goes out or the weather gets too hot, but we just keep going. It is just a normal eating place in a busy corner of the city. Usually, there is a lot of noise from the autos and bikes outside, but that’s just life in Varanasi.
