ORCHIDS VEG RESTAURANT

Our place is in the K K Complex, right on the Bhelupur-Durgakund Road in Varanasi. If you’re looking for us, we are right opposite Nilkhanth Electronic in Durgakund. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you’re familiar with this part of town. We decided to stick with a strictly vegetarian menu because that’s what works best for the community here. The restaurant has been here for a bit, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We have basic wooden tables and chairs, nothing too modern or uncomfortable. It’s a place where you can just sit down and have a meal without feeling like you need to dress up. The kitchen is always going, especially during the lunch hour when office workers and shop owners from the complex come in. We try to keep the floors swept and the water jugs filled. It gets quite warm in the summers, so we keep the fans going at full speed. People usually come in, eat their food, and go about their day. We don't have any background music or fancy lighting. It’s just a plain dining room where the focus is on the food coming out of the kitchen. Most of our staff have been with us for a long time and they know the regulars by face. We keep the doors open from morning until late at night.
