New Shaam E Awadh

New Shaam E Awadh is right there in Varanasi, specifically in the Nadesar area. Our spot is at Mint House, and if you are looking for us, we are right in front of the Taj Hotel. It is a bit of a funny contrast, being across from such a big, famous hotel, but we like our location. Nadesar is a busy part of the city, and being near Mint House means there is always something going on. Varanasi is a very old and crowded place, and our street is no different. We get a lot of people who are visiting the city and want to eat somewhere that feels local. The restaurant isn't very big, but we make the most of the space we have. We don't spend money on fancy ads or professional photos. We just show up, open the doors, and start cooking. The 221002 area is full of energy, and we feel like a part of that. Sometimes the traffic outside is a total mess, but we just ignore it and focus on what’s happening inside. We’ve been here for a bit and have gotten to know the other shopkeepers around Nadesar. It’s a good community. We don't try to be something we’re not. We are just a local restaurant in Varanasi trying to get through the day and serve some food to whoever walks in. It is simple work but we like doing it.
