Navratna Restaurant

Navratna Restaurant is located inside the De Paris Hotel over in the Cantonment area of Varanasi. Being on The Mall makes it pretty easy to find if you're wandering around the Cantt part of town. We’ve been operating out of this space for quite some time now. It’s a bit different from the busy ghats and narrow alleys of the old city. Here, things are a little more spread out. The restaurant itself has an older feel to it, matching the hotel it’s part of. We aren't trying to be the newest or most modern place in Varanasi. We just offer a place to sit down and eat in a part of town that’s a bit quieter. You’ll see a mix of people coming in—some staying at the hotel and others just passing through the Cantonment. The staff has been around for years, so we know how to handle the daily routine. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just a kitchen and a dining room. We serve a variety of dishes, mostly the stuff people expect when they come to a place like this. The lighting is a bit dim and the furniture is heavy, but it’s comfortable enough for a long meal. We just keep things running day in and day out, serving whoever walks through the door.
