Moms Pride is a small place tucked away at S2/656, C3, in the Sikraul area of Varanasi. This city is famous for being crowded and lively, and our neighborhood is no different. We are mostly focused on the younger kids, which means our days are filled with a lot of noise and energy. The building is just a regular part of the street, and we’ve tried to make the inside comfortable for the little ones. We have small chairs, some colorful mats, and plenty of toys scattered around. Our staff members are mostly women from the local area who have a lot of patience. We don’t have a big corporate structure or any fancy titles. Mostly, we are just busy wiping noses, helping with snacks, and making sure the kids stay occupied with their activities. The traffic in Sikraul can be quite a mess, so drop-off and pick-up times are always a bit hectic around the gate. We don’t have a big playground, but we use the rooms we have to the best of our ability. It’s an honest, local setup where we know every child and their parents by name. There’s no marketing team here, just us doing the daily work of looking after children while their parents are at their jobs. It is often a bit messy and loud, but that is the nature of working with kids in a busy city like Varanasi. We just do our best every day.
