Ming Garden

Ming Garden is at 34-B in Ravindrapuri, Varanasi. We are situated very close to Durga Kund, which is a busy landmark in the 221005 area. We’ve been here for quite a while, serving up Chinese food to the locals and whoever else happens to wander in. The restaurant is not very big, just a simple room with some tables where people can eat. We don't go in for fancy lights or expensive decorations. Most of our time is spent in the kitchen, chopping vegetables and making sure the sauces are ready for the evening rush. Varanasi is a very old and busy city, and Ravindrapuri has its own frantic energy. We get a lot of people who are visiting the nearby temples and are looking for a meal. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the fans going and the sound of the woks, but that’s just how it is here. Our menu is pretty basic, focusing on the dishes that people know and like. We are a small team and sometimes we struggle when a lot of people arrive at once, but we do our best to get the food out hot. We don't have any corporate backing or big marketing plans. It is just a local spot where we cook every day and hope the neighbors enjoy what we make. It’s hard work, but we’ve been doing it for years.
