Lazwab Restaurant

Lazwab Restaurant is situated on Lanka Assi Road in the Lanka area of Varanasi. We are very close to the Bank of Baroda. This part of town is always full of life, with students from the university and tourists walking towards the ghats. Our building, B-30/2-175k, is a busy little spot in a crowded street. We are not a high-end place with white tablecloths or anything like that. We just have sturdy tables and a kitchen that stays hot all day long. My family helps out with the daily chores. We start early to beat the Varanasi heat, prepping everything before the lunch crowd arrives. The street noise is constant, but you stop noticing it after a while. We have been here long enough that many of the bank employees and shopkeepers nearby come in every day. We do not have a marketing team or any social media. We just rely on people seeing us as they walk by on their way to Assi. It is a lot of hard work, especially during the festivals when the streets are packed. We try to keep the place tidy, but it is hard when so many people are coming through all the time. We just focus on the cooking and making sure there is enough for everyone who comes in. It is just a simple restaurant in a very old and busy city.
