D. S. Exports

D. S. Exports operates out of D-16/19 in the Man-Mandir area of Dasaswamedh. Being so close to the river and the old parts of the city means it’s always crowded and full of life. It’s not the easiest place to get to with a large vehicle, but we’ve lived with it for a long time. Our work is mainly about exporting goods, which involves a lot of sitting around and waiting for paperwork to clear. We have stacks of files going back years, and the office smells a bit like old paper and dust. It’s a small operation, and we don't have any desire to grow into some huge corporation. We like knowing everyone’s name and being able to take a break when things get too stressful. The building itself has seen better days, and the stairs are a bit steep, but it’s got a lot of history. We don't use any fancy software or high-tech gadgets if we can help it. A lot of our business is still done with simple ledgers and phone calls. It’s a slow-paced way of doing things compared to the modern world, but it works for us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just ship things out to where they need to go and try not to make too many mistakes along the way. It’s a honest way to spend the day.
