The National Tours & Travels

Our office is at Door No. 8 in the Balu Complex, which is on Vazhudhavoor Road in the Mettupalayam area of Pondicherry. We are right across from the Government Medical College, so there are always students and hospital staff around. It’s a busy little corner of the city. We handle tours and travel bookings for people who want to go around the state or further away. The office is pretty basic, just some desks and chairs for customers. We get a lot of noise from the road, but we’re used to it by now. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who drop in to ask about bus prices and tour packages. We’ve been here in Kathir Kamam for a while and know most of the other shop owners in the complex. It’s a friendly place to work. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just do our work and hope people are happy with the tickets we get them. Sometimes the printer acts up right when we need to print a ticket, which is a bit of a headache. But we usually get it sorted. We aren't corporate people. We are just local folks running a travel desk in a busy part of town. It’s a regular job and we try to do it well.
