Elite Travels & Money Transfer

Elite Travels & Money Transfer is at No 91, M G Road in the Kottakuppam area. We are opposite the Kaithemillath Arch, not far from the Kovilmedu bus stop. This is a bit of a unique setup because we handle travel stuff and also money transfers. It keeps things interesting because you never know what someone is walking in for. One person might want a ticket to Chennai and the next needs to send some money to family. The office is usually a bit cluttered with forms and receipts. We’re right by the bus stop, so it’s always noisy with buses pulling in and out. It’s a very local spot. We don't have a big corporate logo or a polished look. It’s just a shopfront where we work every day. The Kaithemillath Arch is a good landmark for us. We spend a lot of time explaining the different exchange rates or looking up travel routes. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to do everything by hand for a bit. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. It’s that kind of neighborhood. We just keep the doors open and see who comes by. There’s no big mission statement here, just two different services and a lot of daily paperwork to get through. It works for us and the people who live nearby.
