We are over in Venkata Nagar at No 4, VOC Street. It is a bit easier to find if you look for the Vst Kalyana Mandapam since we are quite near that wedding hall. Because of the hall, we often get people coming in who are here for a big family event and need a way to get around the city. Venkata Nagar is a bit quieter than the main bazaar area, which is nice for us. Our office is on the ground floor and it's pretty simple. We have a map on the wall that is starting to peel at the corners and a couple of desks where we handle the bookings. Usually, there is a pot of tea going somewhere in the back. We do a lot of local trips, but sometimes we send cars out for longer distances if someone needs to go to the airport or another town. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s mostly just us answering the phone and making sure the drivers know where they are supposed to be. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit muddy, but we just deal with it. We have lived in Pondicherry for a long time, so we know most of the people around here and how to get through the traffic during the festival seasons. It’s a basic business but it keeps us on our toes most days of the week.
