Universel Travels

Our office is located at No 75, on 3rd Cross Street in Venkata Nagar. We are pretty close to the Balaji Cinema Hall, so if you know where that is, you can find us easily. It’s a decent sized place where we handle all sorts of travel arrangements. We spend our mornings checking schedules and our afternoons dealing with the walk-in crowd. The street outside can get a bit cluttered with parked scooters, but that’s just how it is in this part of Pondicherry. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. Inside, it’s just a standard office with some chairs and desks. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We just focus on getting people their tickets and making sure their travel plans are in order. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just sit and chat until it comes back on. It’s a very local atmosphere here. Our staff mostly live nearby, so they don't have a long commute. We see a lot of the same faces coming in, neighbors and people who live in Venkata Nagar. It feels more like a community spot than a big business. We don't have any scripted ways of talking. We just speak plain English or Tamil and get to the point. That's just how we run things every day at Universel Travels.
