Happi Journey

Happi Journey is based at No 28 on Dr Ambedkar Salai in Kolas Nagar. We’re in the White Town area of Pondicherry, which is usually quite busy with visitors. Our office is right opposite the Indira Gandhi Stadium, so there’s always something happening nearby, especially during sports events. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it works for us. Inside, it's just a regular workspace where we handle travel arrangements. We deal with people wanting to go all over the place. Some days it’s quiet and we just sit and wait for the phone to ring, and other days it’s a bit of a madhouse with everyone wanting a car at the same time. We don’t use any fancy software to track things, mostly just notes and our own memory of the schedules. Being near the stadium means we get a lot of foot traffic. People stop in to ask for directions or see if we have a vehicle free for the afternoon. It’s a very hands-on job. We don’t have a polished corporate image; we just talk to people like regular neighbors. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit messy, but the office stays dry. We’ve been around this part of Kolas Nagar long enough that we feel like part of the furniture. It’s just us, some maps, and a lot of conversations about roads and destinations. We take things as they come and try to keep the cars on the road.
