Vandana Public Senior Secondary School

You can find us at 322, Vps Street, which is in the Soorsagar area of Jodhpur. Being in Rajasthan, the sun is usually pretty bright on our walls. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. It’s a senior secondary school, so we have students of all ages, from the little ones to the ones about to finish up. The street can be a bit narrow, but everyone knows where the school is. We have a simple building with a lot of rooms. It’s not a fancy private place with air conditioning everywhere. We use fans and keep the windows open. It feels very much like a local neighborhood school. We don't go for big advertisements or try to sound like we are something we are not. The teachers here are just normal people who live in Jodhpur and want to see the kids do okay. We have a lot of paperwork to handle and many students to keep track of every day. Sometimes it feels a bit chaotic, but we always get through the day. The playground isn't huge, but the kids make it work. We are just a regular part of Soorsagar. People walk past us every day on their way to the market. We've been here long enough that we feel like part of the scenery. The blue city has its own pace, and we just follow it. Our bell rings at the same time every morning, and that's how we like to keep things.
