Shiv Public Senior Secondary School

You’ll find us in C Sector, Magra Punjla, over in the Bhadwasiya area of Jodhpur. Shiv Public Senior Secondary School has been around for a good number of years now. It’s a pretty large building because we have kids all the way up to the senior secondary levels. It gets quite hectic in the mornings when the buses and cycles all arrive at once. Jodhpur is a hot place, so we have a lot of fans in the classrooms to keep things moving. The walls have a few scuffs, and the playground is mostly just dirt, but it’s where the kids like to be. We don't have a big corporate board or anything; it's just the principal and the teachers running things. We follow the board's syllabus and try to get the older students ready for their big exams. It’s a lot of pressure, but we just take it day by day. We don't spend much on decorations or fancy signs. Most people find out about us through word of mouth in the Magra Punjla neighborhood. We’re just a regular school doing regular work. There is nothing hidden or complicated about how we operate. We open up early, teach the classes, and lock up once the last student has headed home. It’s a busy, honest way to make a living. There is always a lot of paperwork to deal with, but we manage to stay on top of it somehow.
