Aastha Public School

Aastha Public School is tucked away inside Ganga Vihar, which is part of the Kudi Bhagtasni Housing Board area in Jodhpur. If you know this part of the city, you know it's mostly houses and small shops. Our school fits right in. The sun gets really strong here in Jodhpur, so we spend a lot of time making sure the classrooms stay as cool as they can. The building itself has seen a lot of seasons. We don't have a fancy marketing team or anything like that. It’s mostly just the teachers and the staff who live nearby. In the mornings, you see the yellow buses and parents on scooters dropping off their kids. The housing board area is quiet compared to the main city, but it wakes up once the school bell rings. We have some trees around the perimeter that provide a bit of shade. Sometimes the wind blows the sand in from the open areas, and we have to sweep the hallways twice a day. It’s a lot of work keeping a school going in this heat, but we have been at it for years. There isn't much to say other than we are a local school for the people living in this corner of Jodhpur. We focus on the daily stuff, like making sure there is enough water and the chalk hasn't run out. That is how things go here at Aastha Public School every single day.
