Genesis School

Genesis School is tucked away at Building No.26 on Nagori Gate Road in Jodhpur. The road can get pretty narrow and crowded with traffic, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze getting here in the morning. Our school is an old building that has seen a lot of students come and go over the years. It has that lived-in feel, with stairs that are a bit worn down and walls that have been painted many times. We don’t have a massive campus with stadiums. Instead, we have rooms where the kids sit and listen to their lessons. The teachers here really know their stuff, but they talk to the kids like normal people, not like robots. We have a small entrance where parents wait at the end of the day, chatting about the weather or local news. It’s a very social atmosphere. Sometimes the noise from the Nagori Gate area drifts inside, but the kids are used to the sounds of the city. We focus on the basics and make sure everyone stays on track. It’s a bit cramped at times, but we make it work. Most of the people who work here have been with us for a long time. We don't spend money on big signs or fancy decorations. We just keep the doors open and the classrooms ready for whoever shows up to learn. It's a simple, honest school life in Jodhpur.
