Deep Jyoti Public Upper Primary School Lawera Khurd

Our school is situated right along NH 65 in Lawera Khurd. Being so close to the highway means we hear the trucks passing by all day long, but you eventually stop noticing the noise. It is a simple upper primary school in a rural part of Jodhpur. The area is quite open and dry, which is typical for this part of Rajasthan. We have a basic setup here with classrooms that open out onto a central area. Most of the children come from the nearby houses and farms in Lawera Khurd. They usually arrive with dusty shoes and a lot of energy. We don't have any high-tech equipment or anything like that. It is mostly just blackboards, chalk, and some old wooden benches. The staff takes care of everything from teaching to managing the grounds. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows wider to let the breeze in. It is an honest kind of place where everyone knows each other’s business. We keep a few trees in the courtyard to provide a bit of shade during the lunch break. The parents often stop by to chat or ask about their kids. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy website. We just focus on the basics of running a school in a small village. It is hard work sometimes but it is what we do. The day ends when the last bus leaves the highway stop.
