Cambridge Children Academy Sec School

This school is on Jain Mandir Road in Osian. It is not a very big town, so almost everyone knows where the Jain Mandir is. We are just down the road from it. The building has several rooms for the different grades up to the secondary level. It is a bit of a dusty area, being where it is in Jodhpur district, but we sweep the floors every morning before the kids arrive for their lessons. The students come from the town and some of the smaller villages nearby. Some come on their bicycles and others just walk from their houses in the morning. We have the standard curriculum that we follow every year. The teachers are mostly people from around here who have been with us for a long time. We have a small library with some books, though we could always use a few more for the older kids to read. The desks are a bit worn out from use, but they still work fine for the kids to do their writing and exams. We don't have any big flashy signs or any fancy equipment. It is just a regular school where kids come to learn. During the festivals, the road outside gets very busy with people going to the temple, but the rest of the time it is fairly quiet. We just go about our business of teaching the lessons and making sure the exams are handled properly. It is a steady way of life for us.
