Kendriya Vidyalaya

This is the Kendriya Vidyalaya located on Mandore Road in Jodhpur, 342006. Being on Mandore Road, we get a lot of traffic passing by. It’s a well-known spot in this part of Jodhpur. We follow the usual routines you’d expect at a school like this. There’s a lot of structure, but things still get messy sometimes. The staff rooms are usually full of notebooks waiting to be checked. We have a lot of students, and they bring a lot of energy to the place every morning. The playground is quite big, which is nice for the kids during their break time. We have trees around the boundary that give some shade, which we really need in the Jodhpur heat. The buildings are painted in the standard colors and we try to keep them looking decent. It’s a lot of work managing so many different classes and schedules. We have our meetings in the mornings to figure out what needs to be done. Sometimes we have to deal with minor repairs or organizing school events, which takes up a lot of time. We just go about our business day by day. It’s a government-related setup, so there is plenty of documentation to fill out. We don’t make a big fuss about things. We just provide a place for the local kids to come and get their schooling done. Every afternoon the final bell rings and there is a rush at the gates.
