Saraswati Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School

Located on Balaji Mandir Road in the Masuria area of Jodhpur, our school is a pretty familiar sight for anyone living around here. We are right on the way to the temple, so there’s always a bit of movement and the sound of bells in the air. Saraswati Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School has been around for a good stretch of time. The building is tucked into the street, and we’ve made the most of the space we have. Jodhpur can get incredibly hot, as everyone knows, so we make sure the fans are always working and there’s plenty of water for the students. The mornings are the best time, before the sun gets too high, when the kids are all lined up for prayer. We don’t have a massive campus with acres of grass, but the courtyard is where everything happens. You’ll see teachers sitting out there during their break, checking notebooks or just having a quick glass of tea. We try to keep things simple and organized. Most of our students live within walking distance or come by rickshaw from other parts of Masuria. It’s a community school more than anything else. We handle the senior secondary classes, so the older kids are always busy worrying about their exams, while the younger ones are just happy to be running around during recess. It is just a regular place where we all work hard together.
