Shri Jeetendra Godara'S Slbs Education Foundation is based on 6th Road in the Shakti Nagar area of Jodhpur. Being in Paota C Road means we’re right in the middle of a busy part of town. The foundation was set up to help with local schooling and getting resources to people who need them. It’s not a huge operation; we work out of a modest building that looks like most of the others on this street. You’ll usually find a few of us sorting through mail or organizing workshop materials for the teachers. Jodhpur gets incredibly hot in the summer, so our office is usually a bit stuffy despite the coolers. We’ve got stacks of books and old registers everywhere. It’s a bit disorganized at times, but we know where everything is. People come in and out all day asking for advice or looking for help with school forms. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anyone in a suit waiting to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find someone at a desk. We spend a lot of our time just making sure the local kids have what they need for their classes. It’s honest work and we don’t make a big fuss about it. We’ve been here long enough that most of the shopkeepers nearby know us by name.
