Good Shepherd School

Our school is over at 934, 9H D Road, right in the heart of Sardarpura. Jodhpur can get really hot in the summer, but the classrooms stay okay if we keep the fans going. It’s a lively part of town, so there is always some noise from the street, people honking or vendors walking by. Good Shepherd School has been a part of this neighborhood for a long time now. We see kids growing up from small children into teenagers before they finally move on. The gates open pretty early in the morning, and you’ll see parents on scooters dropping off their kids before heading to work. We have a small playground where the younger ones run around during recess, and it usually gets pretty dusty. 342003 is the area code here. The teachers often stay back late to finish grading papers or to plan for the next week. We don’t have a lot of big posters or marketing stuff on the walls, just student work and the usual calendars. Sometimes the water cooler breaks down and we have to call the repair guy from down the street. It’s just how things go. We know most of the families around here by name, which makes it feel like more than just a workplace. It’s a bit crowded in the hallways when the bell rings, but we’re used to the chaos. We just keep at it every day and try to keep the place running smoothly.
