Bodhi International School

Out here in Jodhpur, specifically in the Shikargarh Enclave area, you will find Bodhi International School. We are situated right on the Shikargarh Mini Market Road. It is a handy spot because parents can drop their kids off and then maybe pick up some groceries or things for the house right there at the market. The road can get a bit crowded with scooters and cars, especially when school starts and ends in the afternoon. Jodhpur has that specific feel to it, and our little corner of it is no different from the rest. We spend our days inside the building, going through the books and making sure the children are actually paying attention to what is on the blackboard. It is a lot of work keeping a school running in this heat, but we manage somehow. The building is easy to spot once you get onto the Mini Market Road. We have been here for a while, and the people living in the enclave know us well enough by now. We aren't trying to be anything other than a school for the local kids. There are no big fancy signs or anything like that, just the name of the school and the kids playing during their lunch hour. It gets noisy sometimes, but that is just how it is when you have a lot of young people in one place. We just keep things moving, one day after another, and try to make sure everyone stays on track. It is a simple life.
