Model Engineering College

Model Engineering College is located in Thrikkakara, Kochi, right near Bharatha Matha College. It’s a well-known area and we’ve been part of the landscape here for quite a while. The campus isn't overly huge, but it's got what's needed for engineering students. We have labs, some classrooms, and a lot of students running around between buildings. It’s a busy place, especially during the middle of the semester when everyone is worried about their internals. We don't have a dedicated PR team writing stuff for us, so this is just how it is. The buildings are a bit older, and you can see the wear on the walls, but the equipment inside is what we focus on. We have computers and various lab setups that get a lot of use. The atmosphere is generally quite serious because the courses are tough, but you’ll see groups of friends hanging out near the entrance or walking over to the nearby college for snacks. We don’t try to act like a corporate office. It’s a school, through and through. The faculty members are usually in their offices or in the labs helping out. It gets quite rainy here in Kochi, so there's often a bit of mud around the walkways, but we just get on with it. We aren't looking to impress anyone with fancy talk. We just provide the space and the tools for students to learn their trade. It’s a straightforward place with a lot of history in the local community.
