Ballard Bungalow

Ballard Bungalow is located right near Fort Cochin on Ballard Road. The pin code here is 682001. This is a very old and historic part of Cochin. The bungalow itself has that old-world feel to it. It’s not like those new modern hotels you see in the city. We have high ceilings and thick walls that keep the place relatively cool, which is good because it gets very hot in Kerala. Being near the Fort means we are close to the water and the old fishing nets. We have guests from all over the world staying here. It is a lot of work to keep an old building like this in good shape. Something always needs painting or fixing. We don't have a fancy corporate office. It is just us here on the ground, making sure the rooms are ready and the garden isn't too overgrown. We like the quiet pace of Ballard Road. It is a bit away from the main noise but still close enough to walk everywhere. We don't use any polished language to describe ourselves. We are just a bungalow where you can stay. We take things one day at a time and try to make sure people feel at home. It’s a simple life running a place like this in Cochin. We just keep the doors open for whoever comes by. There is no big secret to it, just keeping the place clean and welcoming for visitors.
