Alba Restaurant

We are located right on the NH Bypass at the Chakkaraparambu Junction in Vennala. If you are driving along the highway in Ernakulam, you will see us right across from St. George Church. It is a very busy spot because of all the traffic coming off the bypass. We have a lot of cars and trucks pulling in at all hours. The restaurant itself is a pretty simple building. We have some space for parking out front but it can get a bit tight when the lunch rush starts. Inside, we have regular wooden tables and some fans to keep the air moving. We serve the kind of food that we grew up eating. It is nothing too fancy. We get a lot of families from the Vennala area and also people who are just traveling through and need a break from the road. On Sundays, after the church services are over, the place gets really crowded and noisy with kids and people talking. We do our best to keep up with the orders but sometimes the kitchen gets a bit backed up. We don't have any fancy waiters, just local people working here. The floors are made of tile and they get a lot of wear and tear from all the boots and sandals. We just try to keep the place running and serve food that is honest and filling for everyone.
