Al Ziya Restaurant

Al Ziya Restaurant is on the ground floor of the Nirappukattil Building. We are located on Civil Lane Road in the Chembumukku area of Vazhakkala. It's easy to find because we are quite close to St. Michael’s Church and the Chembumukku bus stop. Ernakulam is a busy place, and this particular road sees a lot of commuters every single day. People are always waiting for the bus or walking to the church nearby. We decided to set up here because it felt like a good spot for a local kitchen. The building is simple, and so are we. We spend our mornings getting the basics ready. There is always something to chop or clean. We aren't trying to be fancy or anything like that. It’s just a place to get food. The 682021 area has a lot of families and working people. We see the same faces often, which is nice. Sometimes the weather in Kerala makes things slow down, but we stay open regardless. The bus stop brings a lot of foot traffic past our door. We just try to keep up with the demand. There’s no complicated philosophy here. We just work. If you’re around Vazhakkala, you’ve probably seen the Nirappukattil Building. We are right there on the ground floor. It’s a practical setup for us and for the people who live around here. We just keep the lights on.
