Gokul Oottupura

We have been running Gokul Oottupura on Kaloor Kadavanthara Road for quite some time now. Being right here in Cochin near Akshaya Hospital means we see a lot of different people every day. Some are visiting the hospital and others are just passing through Ernakulam. It stays pretty busy on this road. We just focus on getting the food out and making sure everything is clean. There isn't much to say about us other than we work hard. You can find us easily enough if you know where the hospital is. The staff here mostly knows the regulars by their first names or at least what they like to eat. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud but inside we just keep doing our thing. It is a straightforward place. We don't have any big decorations or anything like that. People come in, they eat, and then they go about their day. We open early to get things ready for the morning crowd. It takes a lot of prep work to keep a kitchen going in a spot like this. We are used to the pace of this neighborhood now. If you are around the 682018 area, you probably know the street. We just try to keep things moving. There is always a lot to do between cleaning tables and checking the stock. It is just a normal local spot for people to grab a meal. We are glad to be here.
