We are based at No.1/283 on Napier Street in Cochin. It is right near the Bishop House, which is a pretty well-known landmark around here. Being in the Cochin HO area means we are right in the middle of all the old streets and history. The building has been here for a long time, and you can tell by looking at the walls and the way the rooms are set up. It is not like those modern glass buildings you see in the newer parts of the city. We deal with a lot of humidity being so close to the water, so there is always a bit of maintenance to do. The street outside can get a bit crowded with people walking to the nearby sights. We just keep our doors open and handle the daily paperwork and guests at Fort Heritage Pvt Ltd. It is a small team of us working here. We mostly just worry about the rain during the monsoon and keeping the place tidy. There is nothing too special about how we run things, just the usual daily grind in Fort Kochi. We have been on Napier Street for years now, and we have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but our corner stays mostly the same. It is just a practical place to work and stay while you are in this part of town.
