Fishys Fish N Chips

We are over at No.37/628 A in the Tharappel Building. You can find us on S A Road in the Kadavanthara part of Ernakulam. A good landmark to look for is the Lotus Eye Care, because we are right opposite that. People in Ernakulam 682020 seem to like having a quick spot for fish and chips. It’s not a huge place, just a simple shop where we fry things up as they’re ordered. S A Road is always busy with cars and buses going past, so it can be a bit noisy if you’re standing out front. We keep the place open for the locals and the folks working in the nearby offices. The Tharappel Building has a few other shops too, so there’s usually someone coming or going. We didn't want anything too fancy, so the interior is just basic. We focus more on the fryers and making sure the fish is sorted. Sometimes we run out of things early if it’s a particularly busy Friday, but we try to keep up. It’s funny how many people use the eye care center as a way to find us. We’ve become a bit of a local fixture in Kadavanthara over the months. It’s a lot of standing on our feet and dealing with the heat from the oil, but we don't mind the work. It’s a good little business in a busy Kochi neighborhood.
