Diwans Durbar

If you ever find yourself on Info Park Road in Kakkanad you might have seen Diwans Durbar. We are situated right opposite the Civil Station which means we get a lot of people who work in the government offices coming over. It is a very busy part of Ernakulam and the road stays quite full of traffic most of the time. Being near Info Park also brings in a lot of the IT crowd who are looking for something to eat during their breaks or after they finish their shifts. We started this place because we saw how many people were around this area needing a meal. The location is convenient for anyone heading towards the Po in Kakkanad. It’s not a very quiet place because of the main road but that’s the way life is here. We have a regular routine and we try to stick to it so everything goes smoothly. Sometimes the lunch hour gets a bit hectic when the office workers all come at once but we manage. We aren’t interested in being a big corporate chain or anything like that. We just like being a local spot where people know they can get what they need. It’s been interesting watching the area grow with more buildings and more people moving to Ernakulam for work. We’re just happy to be a small part of the Kakkanad community and serve the folks around here.
