Chiyang Restaurant

Our restaurant is located on the first floor of the Mariyambika Building. It’s right on Banerji Road in the Ernakulam North area. If you know where the main road is, you shouldn't have much trouble finding us. We have been in this building for quite a few years now. Being upstairs means it’s a bit quieter than the street level, which is nice when the traffic gets loud outside. Banerji Road is always busy, especially during office hours. We see a lot of people coming in for lunch from the nearby shops and businesses in Ernakulam. The stairs up to the first floor are right there, and once you get inside, there is enough space for families or groups. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. We just focused on putting in enough tables and chairs. The kitchen is tucked in the back, and the staff is used to the lunch rush. It can get pretty humid in Ernakulam, so we try to keep the fans going. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming here for a long time. We know what they like to order without them even looking at the menu. It's a straightforward place. We aren't doing anything experimental. It’s just the usual food we’ve always served. We try to keep the floors clean and the service quick. That is basically our day here at the Mariyambika Building.
