Bob Marley Cafe & Restaurant

We are over in Kochi Fort on Dutch Cemetery Road. It is a historic part of town, and we fit right in with the older buildings and the quiet streets. You can find us pretty easily if you are walking around the Ernakulam area. Our place is simple and we don't try to make it something it isn't. We have some tables set up and a kitchen that stays fairly busy throughout the day. A lot of tourists come through here because of the cemetery and the history of the fort, but we also have locals who stop in for a coffee or a meal. The atmosphere is just what you'd expect from a small spot in Kochi. We don't have a big corporate manual or anything. We just talk to people and serve them what they order. Sometimes the service might be a bit slower if we are short-handed, but we always get there. We keep the music going and the fans running to stay cool. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the cleaning and the cooking, but we enjoy being here. We don't do much in terms of promotion; we just stay open and let people find us as they wander the neighborhood. It’s just an honest place to sit down for a while and enjoy the surroundings. We are just here doing our thing every day.
