Nithya Sahaya Matha High School

Nithya Sahaya Matha High School is located in the Omzoor area of Meramajalu, which is a pretty green and quiet part of the world. To get here, you have to wind through some narrow roads, and it feels like you're deep in the countryside. The school is closely tied to the local community, and most of the families around here have been sending their kids to us for generations. The building is simple, mostly concrete with tiled roofs in some sections that need occasional repairs after the heavy rains. Inside, the classrooms are plain with big windows to let in as much light as possible, as the power can be a bit unreliable out here. You can hear the goats or cows from the neighboring farms sometimes during the quiet moments of a test. We have a small playground that’s mostly grass and weeds, and the kids spend a lot of time running around there during their lunch hour. The staff room is small and usually smells like coffee. We don't have any high-tech labs or big auditoriums, just the basics for teaching and a few cupboards full of old textbooks. It’s a peaceful place to work, far from the noise of the bigger towns. When the day ends, we lock the gate and walk down the lane, usually stopping to chat with a few neighbors on the way out.
