Ramji Architech

Ramji Architech operates out of a space in Venus Apartments, specifically unit number 19/10. We are tucked away in Venus Colony on 2nd Street in the Alwarpet area of Chennai. It’s a nice, established part of town, right behind where the Chola Hotel is. Being in an apartment building means it’s a bit more private than a storefront on a main road. We spend a lot of our time looking at drawings and sketches spread out across the tables. There are usually rolls of blueprints tucked into corners and pencils lying around everywhere. The light in the office is okay during the day, which helps when we’re trying to look at small details on a plan. Since we are in Chennai, it gets quite hot in the afternoons, so the fans are always going. Most of our visitors are people from around Alwarpet or clients who know the Venus Colony streets well. It can be a little confusing to find the right turn the first time, but once you see the apartment block, you’re there. We aren't a massive firm with hundreds of employees, just a dedicated group working on buildings and spaces. We take things as they come and try to get the measurements right. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is good for focusing on the technical side of things. If you walk past the hotel and into the colony, you’ll find our door soon enough.
