Goutham Associates

We have been here at No. 89 in the JJ Complex for a while now. Anna Nagar is a busy area, especially around Thirumangalam, and our office is right in the middle of all that noise and movement. Most days, we are just busy with the usual paperwork and drawings that come with being associates in this field. It is not always glamorous. Sometimes the power goes out or the traffic outside makes it hard to hear ourselves think, but we manage to get things done. People stop by the office throughout the week. We keep our desks cluttered with files because that is just how we work. It’s a practical space, nothing too fancy. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit from our windows. The stairs up to the office can be a bit of a climb if you aren’t used to them. We spend most of our mornings drinking tea and going over what needs to be finished by the evening. Sometimes projects take longer than we expect, and we end up staying late under the tubelights. It is just a regular local business life. We know the shopkeepers downstairs and the guys who deliver our mail. It feels like home after all these years. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the work, and head home to our families when the sun goes down. It's a steady routine that keeps us going.
