Our office is Svv Infra Architecting Pvt Ltd and you can find us at No 40/73 on West Madha Church Street in Royapuram, Chennai. We are right across from St Peter School, so we hear the school bell and the kids quite often during the day. Royapuram is an older part of the city with a lot of character, and we’ve been part of this street for some time. We do a lot of work related to architecture and infrastructure from this small office. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular ground-floor setup where we keep all our tools and papers. The weather in Chennai can be tough, but the office stays reasonably cool. We spend most of our time drawing up plans or talking to contractors on the phone. Sometimes we have to head out to sites, which takes up a lot of the day. We aren't interested in being the biggest company in Chennai; we just want to do our work properly. The neighbors are mostly local families and other small shops. It feels like a community here. We don't use any complicated jargon when we talk to people. We just explain what can be done and what can't. If you walk down West Madha Church Street, you’ll see our sign. We are usually there from morning until evening, just keeping busy with the daily grind of the construction and design world in this part of town.
