Murali Architects

We are Murali Architects, and you can find us over at No 142 on 2nd Street in Kamaraj Avenue, Adyar. It’s a decent area, and we’ve been here at this address for a long time. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but inside we are always doing something. Whether it’s sketching out a new house plan or checking through some old technical drawings, there is always work on the table. We keep things pretty simple. There aren't any big slogans or glossy brochures lying around. We just talk to people about what they want to build and then we try to put that on paper. Adyar has changed a lot over the years, but our little corner on Kamaraj Avenue stays pretty much the same. It’s a quiet place to get work done, which is good because architecture takes a lot of concentration. Sometimes we have to stay late to get things ready for a deadline, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm in the city. We just like being here, doing our drawings and helping out with local building projects. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and we enjoy the process of seeing a drawing turn into a real building eventually. It’s just what we do every day without making it a big deal.
