Design Desk ( India) Pvt Ltd is sitting right on the first floor of building number 11 on Rajabadar Street. If you know T. Nagar, you know how Pondy Bazar gets. It is always loud outside with people shopping and the auto-rickshaws honking at every turn. Up here, it is a bit different. The stairs are narrow and a bit steep, so you have to watch your step when you come up. We have been in this spot for quite a while now. The office isn’t anything fancy, just some desks and computers where we get the work done. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really has the time to think about that right now. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front windows and it gets quite warm, even with the fans going full speed. We usually send someone down to get tea for everyone around four o'clock. There is a small mess nearby where we grab lunch if we didn't bring boxes from home. The sound of the street never really stops, it’s just part of the background here. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains heavy, which happens a lot in Chennai. We just keep at it and handle things as they come. It’s a busy place but we like the location because everything you need is just a short walk away. We have some old filing cabinets that have been here since the start and they still work just fine.
