Babpu Associates

Our place is at A-3, 32, on Masilamani Road in Royapettah. It’s one of those older parts of the city where the streets are a bit narrow and the buildings sit close together. We have been operating out of this address for a good stretch of time. The office is tucked away, and it’s usually humming with the sound of the ceiling fans and the distant noise of the Royapettah traffic. We don't have anything fancy inside—just some old wooden desks, a couple of computers, and shelves full of folders that have been there for years. It’s the kind of place where we know the tea seller around the corner by name. We spend our days mostly handling paperwork and talking to people who drop by for various business matters. The air gets quite humid here, so we keep the windows open when there’s a breeze. It’s a very ordinary office. We don't use any corporate talk or have big meetings with fancy slides. We just sit down, look at the tasks for the day, and get through them one by one. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out or work by the window light. It’s just how things go in this part of town. We are just a small team doing our daily work on Masilamani Road.
