Archinex

Archinex is located at No 82 on Ashtabujam Road in Choolai. We are tucked away right behind where Vasanthy Theatre used to be. Most people in this part of Chennai 600007 remember the theatre, so it makes it easier to tell people where we are. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we sit and work on architectural drawings. We spend a lot of time with pencils and computers, trying to figure out how to make buildings fit into small city plots. Choolai is a crowded area, so we are used to the noise and the hustle outside our door. It’s a local business through and through. We don't have a big front desk or fancy lobby. It's just us working on plans and talking to contractors. Sometimes the traffic on Ashtabujam Road gets a bit much, especially in the evenings, but we’ve been here long enough that we don't notice it much anymore. We handle the basic stuff that comes with building things. It’s a lot of paperwork and technical sketches. The neighborhood has a lot of history, and being behind the old theatre site feels like a familiar spot for us. We just keep our heads down and get the drawings finished. If you are walking down the road, you might miss the entrance if you aren't looking, but we are there at number 82.
