Amaze Architects

Amaze Architects is tucked away in Pleasant Apartments on Taylors Road in Kilpauk. We are at No 45. Kilpauk is a bit more relaxed than the city center, which we appreciate. Our office is basically a converted apartment, so it feels very lived-in. We have shelves full of old files and rolls of paper tucked into every corner. It’s just a few of us here. We don't have a big marketing budget or a polished pitch. Most of the people who come to us are neighbors or people who have seen our work around Taylors Road. We spend our days drawing, talking to masons, and visiting sites to make sure the walls are where they’re supposed to be. It’s a lot of small details that most people don't notice until they’re wrong. We try to be very practical about our designs. A house has to be easy to live in, not just look good in a photo. We don't make grand promises about being the most creative; we just try to be the most sensible. Sometimes the weather in Chennai slows us down, or a shipment of stone is late, but we just keep pushing. We’ve been in this spot for a good while and we know the local rhythms. It’s a simple life of planning and building, and we’re happy to keep it that way. No frills, just honest work in our little corner of Kilpauk.
