Vasavi Book Center

Vasavi Book Center is situated at 45 Avenue Road, right opposite Adigas Hotel. It is a handy landmark because almost everyone stops there to eat. Our shop is quite small, but we try to make the most of the space we have. There are books everywhere you look, from the floor to the top shelves. It gets pretty loud outside with all the honking and people walking by, but inside it is mostly just the sound of pages turning. We spend a lot of time sorting through different titles. It is a lot of work to keep everything in order, and honestly, we aren't always perfect at it. Sometimes a book ends up in the wrong section, and we have to hunt for it when someone asks. We don't have a big team or anything corporate like that. It is just a few of us who know the layout of the place. We have been at this 45 Avenue Road location for a good while. People often drop in after having a meal across the street. We just sell what people ask for and try to keep the popular stuff in stock. It is a practical way to spend the day. We don't do much advertising; people just seem to find us. It’s a busy life on this street, but we are used to the rhythm of it by now.
